CT-90/PT Temperature sensor

Description

The CT-90/pt Temperature Sensor is used in systems for analog temperature measurement. It is designed for monitoring the temperature of machine and equipment housings operating, for example, in underground mining conditions. It can be installed in intrinsically safe circuits, such as those used in measured signal processing systems.

The sensor features a brass housing with an M12 × 1.5 mm threaded end, which is screwed into the base (e.g., housing) at the point of measurement. The internal sensing element changes its resistance linearly depending on the temperature of the housing. The signal is output via a lead wire, which may optionally terminate in a Hirschmann G4 W1F connector (female socket). The housing interior is filled with a hard sealant, and the cable is strain-relieved to prevent damage.
